What this feature does
Quick share sends territories to anyone, whether or not they use Population Explorer. They get a link to a live map of those franchise territories or retail sites with their population and household income, and it opens in any browser with no sign-up.
How to share
Select the territory you want to share, or several of them.
Click the share icon next to the name at the top of the Information panel.
Choose Email, WhatsApp or Copy, which copies the link so you can paste it anywhere.
For Email, fill in the Share by email form: your name and email, the recipient's address under Send to, a Subject and your Message. Then click Send.
What your recipient sees
A live map of the territories you shared.
Each territory's daytime population and, where income is covered, its household income in local currency.
A View more details button that leads to Population Explorer's sign-in page.
If you sent it by email, your subject and message, a preview of each territory with its key numbers, and a View location in map button.
They can't change the territories or see anything else in your workspace.
Tips
Name territories clearly before you share them, since the name appears in the email and on the map.
Anyone with the link can open the map, so send it only to the people it's meant for.
