How to Cancel or Restart Your Account
Population Explorer subscriptions are managed through Stripe. You can cancel your Pro or Enterprise account at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. There are no prorated refunds.
When you cancel, your account automatically reverts to Starter with all associated limitations. All your data is preserved — if you restart later, you can access your datasets again.
How to Cancel
In the PopEx app: Click the person icon (upper left), select Account & Billing, then click Manage Account to open the Stripe portal.
On the marketing site: Navigate to My Account → Account Info, then click Manage Account.
In Stripe: Go to the subscription section and click Cancel Plan.
What Happens After Cancellation
Your account reverts to Starter at the end of the current billing cycle.
Starter limitations apply (max 5 polygons, LandScan 2016 only).
All datasets are preserved for future access.
How to Restart
Log in to PopEx via the app or marketing site.
Go to Account & Billing.
Click Upgrade Plan to open the Stripe portal.
Choose Pro (monthly or annual) or Enterprise (per-seat annual).
